A: pcAnywhere and GoToMyPC are desktop-to-desktop solutions which allow one user to access one host computer from a remote location. Q: Why would I choose Konect Elite if I am currently using Citrix?
A: Have you attempted to call up Citrix or a Citrix reseller to get product support for a 5 user license? Good Luck! Bottom Line: SME support needs are different.

1. Support resources that are specifically trained and geared for the needs of small and mid size businesses are different than for large enterprise. For example, if one support person has to one minute be helping a big global customer and then switch gears and try and help out a small office, it's a night-and-day experience. desktopsites focuses on the small customers needs as opposed to trying to play both ends of the spectrum.

2. SMEs are not datacenters. Enterprise broker offerings, such as Citrix ZenApp, are absolute overkill for the SMB market. The ThinPrint .rdp component provides advanced print functionality for both Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2008R2 servers, and is highly recommended as a compliment to the Konect Elite software.

A: IT administrators install Konect Elite on either a Windows 2003, 2008 or Windows 2008R2 Server. Konect Elite can be installed on Windows 2003 Small Business Server. However, due to the Microsoft Terminal Server Client Access License limitations on this server, is not recommended.

A: This depends solely on your server's hardware and internet connections. As per Microsoft's Terminal Server / Remote Desktop Server guidelines, more than 30-40 concurrent users are not recommended. For best performance 15-20 users per server are recommended.

Q: Can I install additional Terminal Server CALS on Small Business Server 2003?
A: No. The Small Business Server has a limitation of two administrative Terminal Server CALs and does not provide functionality to support any addition TS CAL licenses.
